"Things can get unpredictable" is, at this point, the motto of 2020. But it was quite a surprise for everyone when the weather did not cooperate either with Bow Tie Pet Club's outdoor dog brunch. Despite the rain, the event did happen. The paws were wet, hairstyles got ruined, but everyone had a fantastic time!
It's Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation that you are already familiar with from our previous posts. SASF volunteers brought to the event a beautiful dachshund Zelda, who's available for adoption. Some of SASF graduates attended the occasion too!
At the dog brunch, the Nomi Network presented their collection of fashion face coverings that are crucial now, during the COVID times. Nomi empowers women from economically challenged backgrounds and helps to stop the spread of COVID-19 in vulnerable communities.
The attendees had a chance to chat with the dog trainer Lisa Hartman, who's collaborating with Bow Tie Pet Club for a series of puppy classes (you can register for new puppy classes via this link). Lisa shared her knowledge with new dog owners on how to handle their new furry friend. We look forward to seeing those new Bow Tie Pet Club fellows on our upcoming classes!
For all the attendees, Bow Tie Pet Club's founder Katya Bychkova baked some delicious pupcakes. As expected, the peanut butter flavor was pups' favorite.
Humans attending the event had a chance to test some of Bandit's gourmet coffee and drinks and taste their yummy pastry.
Some of Hampton's most passionate dog lovers and supporters attended the event, including long-time Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation supporter, a philanthropist, and our favorite fashionista Jean Shafiroff.
Overall, the tails where wagging, and the good vibes were floating at our outdoorsy socially distant event. It was so much fun that we decided to have it on a regular! Stop by Bow Tie Pet Club every Sunday from 10 to noon for a free dog photo and a pupcake for your furry baby.
